Orb still works fully. Without Apple Intelligence, the app falls back to simple, static writing prompts instead of dynamic AI follow-ups — you can keep journaling normally either way.

Als einfache Textdateien ausschließlich auf deinem iPhone, geschützt durch iOS-Dateischutz. Es gibt kein Cloud-Backup unsererseits. Wir empfehlen, reguläre iOS-Backups (z. B. über iCloud) zu aktivieren, damit du bei einem Gerätewechsel nichts verlierst.

Einzelne Einträge kannst du direkt in der App löschen. Da alles ausschließlich lokal gespeichert wird, entfernt das Löschen der App sämtliche Daten vollständig — es gibt kein Konto und keine Serverkopie, um die man sich sonst noch kümmern müsste.

You can delete individual entries right in the app. Since everything is stored only locally, deleting the app removes all your data completely — there's no account and no server copy left behind to worry about.

Wenn du beim Schreiben eine konkrete Absicht erwähnst („morgen möchte ich…"), kann Orb dir anbieten, dich später sanft daran zu erinnern. Das passiert ausschließlich, wenn du dem aktiv zustimmst — nichts wird automatisch geplant.

If you mention a concrete intention while writing ("tomorrow I want to…"), Orb can offer to gently remind you of it later. This only ever happens if you actively opt in — nothing is scheduled automatically.

Orb läuft auf iPhones mit iOS 26 oder neuer. Die On-Device-KI-Funktionen benötigen zusätzlich ein Apple-Intelligence-fähiges Gerät; ohne dieses funktioniert Orb wie oben beschrieben im Fallback-Modus.
